The InstaCalm Anxiety Treatment
The InstaCalm Anxiety Treatment is a step-by-step method of alleviating the symptoms of Generalized Anxiety Disorder in a 5-week time frame. This is accomplished using a combination of techniques that come from neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy®, and cognitive behavioral hypnotherapy. The advantage of this treatment is to quicken recovery and lower the overall cost of therapy.
The purpose of this article is to describe:
- The basic steps of the InstaCalm Anxiety Treatment Protocol.
- Advantages when compared to the conventional treatments most often used.
- Show the versatility of how it can be used to alleviate ALL of the most common anxiety disorders and phobias.
- Explain the anxiety rating test used to determine the recommended number of treatment sessions used for mild, moderate and severe anxiety.
The proof of the effectiveness of this process comes from the scores of patient reviews and testimonials giving first-hand stories of how they got their lives back quickly, often after months and sometimes years of using medications and CBT- talk therapy, without their symptoms alleviated.
The primary objectives of this anxiety treatment are to:
These are the essential keys to ending anxiety. They should be achieved in any form of anxiety therapy. When treatment fails, it’s usually because the therapist was not able to achieve one or more of these objectives.
The InstaCalm Anxiety Treatment Protocol Outline: 5 Steps – 5 Sessions
Step 1: First Session – 2 Hours
After a brief history is taken with the subject, I determine if the person can mentally focus and has a normal range of hypnotic susceptibility.
If panic attacks or anxiety attacks have been often occurring, they are first taught how to properly use a breathing technique that usually always stops the attack within a minute.
The remaining 1.5 hours is a couching session using a variation of Time Line Therapy®. This is a method developed in the 1980s that can, if used correctly, completely and permanently remove the emotional feelings of fear, sadness, anger, hurt, shame and guilt from all significant stressful memories.
These bad memories (combined with or without a genetic factor) are usually the root cause of the anxiety.
The subject is then taught the Time-Line Anxiety Release Technique. This technique removes the feeling of anticipation anxiety (worry) regarding any future, specific event in about 5 seconds. This technique is practiced many times before the session concludes.
The subject then listens to a provided relaxation recording every morning until the next session.
Step 2: Second Session – 1 Hour
The subject is tested for their proficiency in performing the T.L Anxiety Release technique. Additional coaching is provided if needed.
This session is primarily focused on learning the InstaCalm Relaxation Technique and it’s one minute version. This is a self-hypnosis method that helps you to become instantly calm.
The subject then listens to a recording that conditions the mind to become very calm by taking a single deep breath. The 19-minute recording also reinforces the 1 minute “light-Switch” technique. The subject is instructed to perform the one minute version frequently throughout the day.
Step 3: Third Session – 1-Hour
This session is used to “anchor” (NLP) the positive feelings of confidence, joy & happiness to the left hand. Later, when the subject squeezes their left hand they trigger those feelings. Next, the subject is taught a strategy that combines taking a deep breath and squeezing their fist as they exhale.
The result is the ability to trigger Calm-Confidence “on-demand”!
This can be used in any situation to “short-circuit” the fear response.
Step 4: Fourth Session – 1 Hour
This session is used to learn ways to stop “Anxious-Irrational Thoughts”. This is often a very disturbing symptom of GAD. These irrational worries usually disappear in about a week after daily listening to my hypnotic recording that helps the subject to RE-LEARN how to rationalize and dismiss the thought.
Session 4 is also used to fine-tune all of the techniques that they’ve already learned, as well as use advanced NLP techniques that remove OCD behaviors, if needed.
Step 5: Fifth Session – 1 to 1.5 Hours
Review all techniques and methods with the subject.
The remaining session focuses on improving self-confidence using cognitive behavioral hypnotherapy.
The Anxiety Rating Test used before this treatment begins, uses algorithms developed to best determine a shortening of the above 5 Steps used for severe anxiety, based upon rating the severity of the symptoms.
If someone scores moderate anxiety, the treatment is only 4 sessions and Step-4 is removed.
If a mild anxiety rating is scored, the treatment is only 3 sessions, using steps 1, 2 & 5.
